Bonatti closes the Consolidated Financial Statement for 2022 in line with the 2022-2026 business plan. The new acquisitions strengthen the order backlog

During the last general meeting, the shareholders of Bonatti Spa approved the Consolidated Financial Statements for the year 2022 and confirmed the current Board of Directors with Giovanni Di Vincenzo as president and Andrea Colombo as CEO.

The 2022 financial statements show growth in all key figures, with revenues of approximately 700 million euros, an EBITDA of around 85 million euros, and a positive net result of approximately 4 million euros.

These numbers highlight how the 2022-2026 business plan had a positive start with a substantial improvement in the Group's performance. The results reflect a company that is experiencing growth in its core areas in line with the objectives set by the Board of Directors.

Specifically:

  • In terms of operational functions, the performance of all the projects is currently in line with the business plan.
  • The individual business areas are proceeding with their activities in alignment with the business plan forecasts. A significant role was played by the Green Systems Business Unit which is already approaching 15% of the Group's total orders in a little over 12 months of operation.
  • From a financial perspective, the company is generating cash with a net financial position (debt) down compared to the end of 2021.
  • In 2022, the sales department secured orders worth over 1 billion euros, among which, in addition to the "traditional" presence in the oil & gas sector, the projects in the power sector (contracts with Enel) and in the green sector (above all, the Grosseto photovoltaic field for Sorgenia) stand out consistently.
  • The order backlog reached over 2 billion euros as of 31/03/23. As for geographical distribution, Italy, Iraq, Chile, Germany and Algeria are at the forefront, accounting for about two thirds of the orders.

The acquisitions of the first quarter of 2023, with a total value of 364 million euros, confirm the growth trend of the Bonatti Group and further consolidate the order book.

The company, in addition to finding a promising market niche in "BESS" installations (fundamental for the future development of green energy), confirms itself as a protagonist in the natural gas sector, with plant engineering projects dedicated to "gas compression" and upgrade/optimization of storage.

Finally, the EPC water pipeline project acquired in Iraq, which Bonatti will execute in the south of the country, is the confirmation of the international leadership in the sector and the technical ability to operate in any environmental condition.
