Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) Project to increase crude oil production and optimize operation of Aramco Abu Ali Plant. The Project includes the Upgrade of the existing Water Injection Pumping (WIP), of the Saltwater Disposal System (produced water) and of the Distributed Control System (DCS/SCADA), located inside the existing Abu Ali Plant approximately 60 Km north of Jubail.
- Upgrade the Water Injection Pumping (WIP) System
The upgrade of WIP shall replace the three (3) existing Combustion Gas Turbine (CGT) driven water injection trains each producing 300 MBWD at 1420 psig with three (3) new higher capacity water injection trains of 500 Thousand Barrels per Working Day (MBWD
- Upgrade the Saltwater Disposal System
The project will expand Saltwater Water Disposal system to accommodate the gradual increase of formation water flow from current 165 to 330 MBWD. The expansion includes one new water-oil separator (WOSEP), one salt-water disposal pump, one hydro-cyclone system.
- Upgrade the Distributed Control System (DCS)
The DCS upgrade will replace the existing obsolete Bailey INFI 90 process control system including the Human Machine Interface (HMI) consoles, associated regulatory controllers, and I/O modules with a currently offered process control system.
