Projects
The project consisted of the execution of works necessary for the construction of the Trans Austria Loop II Phase III Lot 7 Hollenegg - Ruden Pipeline, of 40-inch diameter with a total length of 42,464 km. As well as the main line works, three horizontal drillings (160 m) were carried out as well as four line stations and one trap installation at Ruden. Six special section totalling 6,000 m in length were identified along the route where dedicated teams intervened and hoists and slides were used for the operations. The methane pipeline runs from the Hollenegg station at 400 metres above sea level to the Ruden compression station, rising up to 1212 metres. Under normal conditions, the row was 27 m wide, narrowing to 22 m in woodland sections.
Work on the Hengsberg variant were added to the main project which included the removal of a section of 38-inch pipeline on Tag I and replacement with the new variant pipeline, as well as for a section of 42-inch pipeline on Tag II.
