The project includes provisions of construction engineering, supply of materials (with exclusion of LLI provided by Aramco), all construction works and mothballing to optimize the crude oil production in Mubarraz Area south of Al Khobar – Saudi Arabia. Existing facilities on GOSP-1, GOSP-2, GOSP-6, GOSP-7 & GOSP-8 will be modified and upgraded by installation of:

• WOSEP (Water and Oil Separators) (2)
• Multiphase Flow Meters (2)
• Salt Water Injection Pumps (5)
• Scale and Corrosion Inhibitors Skids (2)
• new FBE coated Trunk-lines from 12” to 24” for a total length of 33 km,
• all associated Civil Works, Structural Steel, in-plant Piping and Mechanical Works, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication and Cathodic Protection Works.

The actual production of GOSPs 1,2 and 6 will be conveyed on the GOSPs 7 and 8 while the existing facilities on the un-operated GOSPs will be mothballed for long terms preservation
