The project was relevant to the realization of a biomass power plant located in Bando D'Argenta (Italy), fuelled by wood chips, with a power of 20 MW (2 units, 10 MW each).

Scope of work performed by Carlo Gavazzi was the turnkey realization of the entire power plant.

The main project procurement included line 1 and line 2 reciprocating grates, steam turbines, steam condensers, cooling towers, electrostatic precipitators and centralized DCS system.
