The new Hospital Maggiore di Borgo Trento is recognised world-wide as a prototype to study. The construction is being carried out by Bonatti in collaboration with architects Altieri.
This impressive project commenced in November 2004. The floor area is over 96,000 sq.m. It has 33 operating rooms and 94 intensive care units. The high-tech equipment for the hospital occupies 8,000 sq.m. For the engineering and installation of the electrical plant, Bonatti were supported by Carlo Gavazzi, a Bonatti Group company, who installed 800 km of power cables and 1,200 km of instrument cables.
Bonatti have had previous experience of this type of construction having been responsible for the enlargement and restructuring of Bressanone hospital, construction of the City Hospital of Avellino and the Recovery Hall of San Martino Hospital in Genoa.
During the execution of the Polo Surgical Hospital, the normal activities of the surgical teams continued uninterrupted due to the provision of temporary facilities by Bonatti.

In the world we know that health is Italian, with French, an example of efficiency and attention to ensuring the highest life expectancy for the population.
A level that developing countries want to get into a growth and development begins to find the theme of health a key plank.
The Bonatti Group is oriented to the global market. 80% of its turnover is generated abroad, located in ten developing countries.
Bonatti is participating in hospital tenders in Libya, Iraqi Kurdistan, Algeria and Dubai. Bonatti is also participating in the tender for the Jahili Paediatric Hospital, designed by Studio Altieri, the developer of the Hospital of Verona
