Carlo Gavazzi Impianti is an Italian based, international contractor with a strong track record in performing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Test and Commisioning of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Transmission, Industrial Plants, Infrastructure and Civil Sectors.
Main Activities:
- Turn-Key Contracts: small and medium size power plants;
- Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) Contracts for E&I&C systems (electrical, instrumentation and control/automation) for Oil & Gas, Energy, Industry and Civil/Infrastructures;
- Mechanical, Electrical and Low Current systems (MEP) Contracts for the civil / infrastructure sector (such as High-Tech Building, Hospitals, underground stations, tunnels etc.);
- Construction: Erection Testing and Commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems;
- Operation & Maintenance (O&M): O&M and/or Global Services of electrical and instrumentation systems.
In addition to its traditional core capabilities in Electrical & Instrumentation EPC contracting, Carlo Gavazzi Impianti has developed in the last decade significant expertise in renewable and conventional small/medium power generation plants including biomass fuelled plants, hydroelectric plants, solar and wind farms.
The extensive experience gained over many years of successful activity in the E&I&C sector found its best application in the re-instrumentation and replacement of control systems (DCS, PLC) in the Oil & Gas Sector where significant number of projects have recently been completed.
In the Civil Infrastructure and Building markets, Carlo Gavazzi Impianti has extensive experience in all kinds of MEP systems, including low-voltage distribution, small power and lighting, low current systems, HVAC etc.
In all the industrial activities the experience gained by Carlo Gavazzi Impianti ranges from the E&I&C systems (HV/HV and HV/MV substations, MV and LV distribution, process instrumentation, control systems etc.) to small size (less than 15-20 MW) biomass/renewable power plant which can be offered on a turn-key basis.
